Japan’s got the eshaku (会釈), keirei (敬礼), & saikeirei (最敬礼). In Islam there’s the ruku (رُكوع) & sujud (سُجُود). There’s also wai in Thai culture (ไหว้) & pranāma (प्रणाम) in India. Although all those things I named are different in their nature & cultural usage, they’re all unified by what common action?

I could ask ya what band originally wrote that song ... but that would be pretty mean, ’cause they’re frankly not a very famous band. So instead I’ll ask ya what economist has a ’ponymous “impossibility theorem” that basically says that no ranked-choice voting system can completely avoid the risk of there being a “spoiler” candidate in the election?
